![]() If it is windy enough to blow over my rocket and launch pad I don't fly that day. If it is bad enough to need a snake bite kit I don't use that field...

![]() One suggestion I have is for those things you want to keep dry, go by your local independent pharmacy and ask if you can buy some empty large bottles. Most of them will just give them to you if you only are asking for one or two.
I know field boxes shouldn't be a wet environment but just a leaky bottle of water or a slip out of your hand can really hurt a launch day... |

![]() I have a checklist in my box. I always use it too. What do I bring?
1. Motors 2. Wadding 3. Igniters 4. Launch pad and rod 5. Launch controls 6. Sandpaper 7. Hobby Knife 8. Glue 9. Spare chute, launch lug ect. 10. pen or pencil 11. Pliers 12. Tape 13. Launch Cards 14. And of course Rockets!!!! What do I do prior to going to the launch? First I prepare all the rockets that I am going to launch that day. I unpack all chutes and ensure the proper wadding is in the tube. Repack the chute and load it. MAke sure the nose cone is tight enough. I then choose the engine I am using and load it into the rocket. The fill out the clubs launch card. I do this with all the rockets, This way I am ready to launch when I get to the launch site. I do not put any igniters into the engines. This does not happen until I get to the launch pad. Hope this helps some one. ![]() |

![]() I would add a cordless Dremel Moto-Tool to the list if you have one.
Those have been priceless to me on numerous field repairs.

![]() If you include a hobby knife, you must also include CA and band-aids or masking tape for the inevitable "repair job".
![]() Speaking of masking tape, it's always in my range box, whether it's for rockets or fingers. ![]()

![]() Nichrome wire.
Hand-wired launch panel, two-part launch rod, and MPC tripod, just in cse. Bag of spare streamers and parachutes. Spare Captain Cosmos uniform, in case my superpowers are required at a launch. Small bottle of cheap CA adhesive. Mk. IV Utomuchron Industries nanoassembler, stolen from Semroc's underground alien technology fab-lab, in case I lose a nose cone and need to create another. (You really think Carl MAKES all those parts?) Scissors |

I've never used such a thing. My philosophy is that I'm definitely going to win- I'm not going to break the egg, therefore a baggie is unecessary. Plus, the contest is Egg Loft duration, and since I'm using a 36 inch plus chute, I don't think breakage is in the cards..... ![]() |

Famous last words......lol Just remember, if the parachute fails to deploy or seps, you can still get a qualified flight and flight points if the egg don't break........NARAM 49......lol . I'll relate the history if you don't know it....... ![]()
