John sent me an email, asking me to let everyone know that he'll be offline for a few weeks - he has some traveling he needs to do, which takes him out of reliable Internet access for a bit.

He said that he has shipped everything that's been paid for or put things on hold as requested.

Have you heard any more from John? I bought a number of Semroc kits from him last year that I had him holding on to so I could save on shipping by adding more things I planned on buying to the box. He kind of dropped off the face of the earth and he still has my paid for kits.

I sent him an email about a week ago with no reply.

Though I haven’t reached out to John yet, I too, have a couple of kits to be shipped. Hope he’s okay.

Sorry, I forgot to post about this last week. I've been in touch with John and was able to get the kits he was holding shipped to me. He's off the grid due to the type of work he's doing. He asked that I not talk about the details due to security issues. He did say I should let everyone know the following:

"I am still alive, I am not under indictment, I have had to travel for work to primitive areas without much in the way of internet or phone connections and that I really hope this situation comes to a close soon."

With that said, if anyone here has items that you've already purchased that he's been holding for you, send me a PM with your full name, cell #, email address and a list of the items he's holding if you have it. I'll get the info to him so he can get in touch with you. He does come back home to visit his wife over a weekend on occasion which would give him the opportunity to get your items shipped out.

If members are wanting to buy something he posted awhile back, please wait on that until he's back on the grid fulltime.

John contacted me today (he had a quick break where he could) and asked that I pass on to everyone that he's still around, just occupied by some commitments that severely limit his ability to communicate with folks.

He's hoping to be back soon.
