![]() Hello,
I have this old Cineroc camera that is broken. Other than the piece you see, the rest of the camera is in great shape. Looks like it broke and someone tried to glue it back together once before. Any ideas on how to fix it? I also have new un opened film to go with it. One more thing, how do you replace the old rubber band? Thank you |

![]() I had decent luck on my vintage Cineroc by repairing a break with plastic compatible CA.
Problem is the only local hobby shop that carried the "plastic" CA closed, and I can't find it now ![]() |

![]() Ugh, with N batteries in place, the motor is not running. I have juice going to the motor with the green wire and juice when the switch is on for the red wire.

![]() I used plastic CA glue and she is pretty strong. I replaced the rubber band with a little bending and luck of the plastic piece. I was able to get the motor running but sounds like it needs some lubrication. Any ideas or the lube or just let it be?

![]() That is about the kind of sound my couple of Cinerocs make.
I never had one ‘back in the day’ when they were new, so I do not know if that is just how they sound or whether it does actually need a bit of lube. If so, I’d kinda like to know the best lubrication for them also as I just was not sure what might be best (some lubes might damage the internals or such), so I just have not lubricated mine. Never have flown one either, but would eventually like to do that. Earl

![]() That motor sounds awful.
I would try "Tetra Gun" paste lube in the tube. It is a teflon based lubricant. Just a little on the gears and each end of the motor shaft.

Would it be advisable to put a dab on the motor shaft where the shaft actually enters the motor itself? Earl
