Yeah, I'd like to hear about those, too!

And James, even though your thumbnails are rotated, the pics come up oriented correctly (at least here on my Mac). I have the same problem with posts here sometimes.

Ditto on the pic orientation. Once downloaded they are fine. Thanks for posting them.

If they ask too much, people are going to expect it to land like a Falcon 9...

I highly doubt the prices will be close to those prices either.
I think those prices are too high on the Boyce kits...these kits will be most likely what I call ridiculous. They have $500 kits, which I find INSANE for any uncontrolled vehicle short of a 1/50 scale Saturn V.

I expect the major appeal of the Estes Falcon 9 model will be towards SpaceX fans.

The box alone will be a major selling point to these people. They won't care if it is a 'flying' model or not.

I estimate the SRP on this model will be $100-$150 SRP.

That E60 mentioned above sounds interesting as long as it is FAR more reliable than the old FSI E60 that most often acted as a large firecracker.

Yeah, I think I saw more of the old FSI E60s fail than I saw work. Could have been a great engine otherwise.
