Bugs Bunny can disarm any device, trap, or bomb that would normally hurt him. The reality distortion field generated by Bugs is good enough to get Daffy Duck’s head blown off by Elmer Fudd after screaming “Duck Season”. I have watched many a Loony Tunes Cartoon, and I have never seen Bugs Bunny injured in any cartoon in which he appears. Anyway, Marvin the Martian vs. Daffy Duck is a more even contest.

I remember seeing Bugs Bunny injured in (2) Looney Tunes cartoons that I know of, but they were so long ago and so obscure that I just barely remember them.

1) in a cartoon with Bugs and the Tasmanian devil there’s an appearance by Frankenstein’s monster. The monster pummels both Bugs and Taz at the end of the story.

2) in a cartoon where Bugs is up against a brutish steelworker, the steelworker hits bugs so hard in the head with a suspended “I” beam that Bugs Bunny’s head takes on the shape of the “I” beam.

These cartoons can probably be found on line,

because:

“EVERYTHING CAN BE FOUND ON LINE AND IT’S ALL TRUE.”

Now, on the other hand, I’ve NEVER seen the Roadrunner, Tweety, Penelope Pussycat, or Speedy Gonzales get even MILDLY hurt.

No doubt about it.......

I just remembered one more cartoon where Bugs gets hurt: it’s the one where “The Stork” is drunk and accidentally delivers Bugs to an expectant gorilla couple. The gorilla father is playing with Bugs by throwing him up in the air and then intentionally doesn’t catch him and Bugs lands in a crumpled heap on the ground.
