Default SOLD Centuri #5341 - Hornet

I have always loved Centuri rockets but, as a BAR, I learned to hate their packaging. It was very thin and had a penchant for turning very brittle. This kit is no exception. I have a vague memory of a small tear in the plastic bag when I bought it. In the decade or more that it has been sealed up in a box, the packaging has virtually ceased to exist. The brittleness has become worse and the bag no longer holds anything. For that reason, I almost did not put this one up for sale but I recall that to me, packaging was not important; the rocket was. And besides, I was a Centuri guy. I carefully inventoried the parts and everything is present. I then started reassembling the bag with tape. Now the weight of tape far exceeds the weight of the bag; every movement yielded a new rupture. I will post a second post in this thread with additional pics. The rocket itself is a sporty job meant to fly one Centuri D motors but will also fly with B-C motors. The kit has a 24mm motor mount and an 18 to 24 mm adapter. It recovers under a streamer. I checked prices for this kit online, took the average and cut it in half.

I am asking for $30.00

This kit is offered for sale in an effort to liquidate my collection of kits and is being offered via cross postings on The Rocketry Forum and Ye Olde Rocket Forum. The price indicated is what I have determined by looking for evidence of similar sales but, admittedly, might reflect a poor judgement on my part. I'm just doing the best that I can. The price does NOT include shipping. Interested persons are invited to contact me via PM and I will calculate the shipping. Payment is expected by means of Zelle or Venmo. I am willing to do some, but not a lot, of experimentation with PayPal but be advised that my patience with that platform is not particularly notable. My intention is to make shipments twice per week after confirming receipt of funds. I will try to give the most accurate descriptions I am able to provide and will happily answer any specific questions either by PM or within the post thread.

I used to tell Mom, "...I want to fly rockets when I grow up!"

She said, "Make up your mind, you can't do both!"
