As mentioned, both were PS II SPEV kits.
The Scion fins were reversed Leviathan fins. What's funny is they bundled four fins together (the Leviathan has four) but the Scion only has three. I still have the extra fin in my parts stash.
IIRC like the original PS II kits there were no decals (with the exception of the Prowler). Some models had paint masking templates on the website, don't remember if the Sahara had one.
I would attach a pic but it's still nekkid, and she's shy.

I have the Scion, Sahara, and Panavia in the Estes Kit List as being available only in 2016. I must have seen it on the Estes Web site and added them to the list. Next update I should add a note to all the non-catalog kits and starter sets saying "Not in Catalog".

Wet Sanding and Compounding are two activities I NEVER associate with any of my hobbies.
Not even my Corvette.

and....................................voila!

This is my treatment of the Sahara:
desert khaki and colonial red, accented with black and chrome bands slit from adhesive film.

Very Nice!

It reminds me of the LOC kits of the early 90s.

A little birdie told me the Sahara clone (and a few others) may be available on the Launch Lab site as early as January 16...

Finally getting around to posting photos of finished Sahara.

I made a name decal using Corel Draw and decal film.

Flew it on a F50, as I recall, at the Sheridan flight last September. It flew really well, as did a Panavia (on a G33J or something like that).
