Sheesh.
I remember all the postponements of the 1st Shuttle launch in 1981.
That was very annoying.

There was just one scrubbed attempt before the successful flight.

But, the scrub did cause my friends and I to get trapped in a traffic jam for more than four hours before having to find a place for three penniless college students to sleep for a couple of nights.

Next launch attempt will be Friday May 14 at 8:02pm eastern. They need a couple days they say to look over the vehicle after it “came in contact with a launcher support” today.

Well...looks like they are going to try again starting with a launch window opening at 8:03 tonight. The ‘but’ is that Bermuda is currently seeing cloudy skies. So, who knows....

Somewhat clear here in mid-Georgia right now.

...and no-go for tonight.

Tomorrow night is the last attempt night they have in this window. They will have to go some other time later in the year if tomorrow night is scrubbed also.

One more try for this launch window....

Window opens at 8:04pm eastern. Clouds are a concern again for Bermuda, but they are thinking they will clear by launch time.

They are picking up the count, working towards a launch time of 8:44 eastern looks like.

Maybe it will go this time....
