Earl,

When you have time can you scan the decal at 600dpi? If it's too big email it to me to put online otherwise post it here if you would.

Thank you!

I'm just looking for a nice scan of an original decal.

FWIW this is all I could easily find of my scans from 25 years ago when I redrew the decal. There were more of course but I think they may have gotten lost in the sands of time. I'll see if the rest is on my old Macintosh.

What errors did I make?

Kurt,

Some of it is just me being extremely picky. However, I can't ignore the font issue with the "Estes" inside the black oval. I find that pretty glaring. However, I also think that the font that you used is a bit light on the weight for stuff like "GOOD EGGS FLY". I also think that there is a better font match that could have been used. I'm also not happy with the lack of correct yellow color.

For reference, I have included part of the 600 dpi scan that I just received next to your previous work.

Sorry to bad-mouth you on-line. Your work is actually part of what inspired me to do my own artwork.

If it makes you feel better, your work is much much better than the Semroc decal.
