Decals applied.

One of the shots is of the clear decals applied over the matte clearcoat, which was applied over the chalky finish blue paint. At this point, the glossiness of the decals clearly stands out from the matte of the clearcoat.

And a shot of the decals all applied, but before the final clear was applied.

Wow, that came out great. The tan/blue paint scheme is pretty subtle given the colors you've chosen.

I’ll have to consider a Vindicator. I never had it or the original Interceptor, they were in production at a time when I was not doing rockets. When Estes reintroduced them about 10 years ago, I stocked up on the standard and the E model. I could easily free up one in either, or both sizes, for conversion. I also have an accur8 skin set for the standard Interceptor. Those are very nice.
