The Skylab Saturn V will include the parts for moonshot versions, the box was displayed at the NAR manufactures forum.

I TOTALLY AGREE with Estes going to 29mm power for the newest Saturn V.
That is what it should have ALWAYS had or 3x24mm power.
A single D12-3 in it is a BAD JOKE.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, and HAVOC !

I absolutely disagree. I've flown my old Centuri Saturn V probably 50 times on a D12-3 without so much as a single mishap. Never even broke the escape tower on a flight. I've broke it in the house, though. (I am smart enough, however, not to fly it in windy conditions.)

They were saying a while back that it would include parts for an Apollo Saturn V and a Skylab Saturn V. I haven't heard anything lately.

The C11 should be a great choice for the Saturn 1B. Really looking forward to this reimagined kit!

C5-3 worked in my old Centuri Saturn 1B, when it didn't blow up. I rebuilt it after a cluster failure (only one I've ever had, iirc) with a single 18mm mount specifically for the C5-3. It flew fine with the old C5's until one day it went BOOM!

It would be an interesting comparison for someone with an altimeter. I've had some pretty big rockets that were still ascending when the C11-3 ejected.

I think you'll find the Estes 2157 Saturn is somewhat heavier than the Centuri kit - and the 1969 is heavier than the 2157.

For a minute there, I thought you were going to say 'in the house'.

I've flown my old 1B many times on a C11-3. Optimum motor for a low flight.

I can't stop laughing! I'm sure it's been tried. Heck, I set my friend's sofa on fire with a Roman candle--- in the house. His wife was pi$$ed. Go figure.
