Thinking about the Cosmik Debris design, I'm wondering if a similar oscillation might have been set up that caused its demise. As we know, that model had plenty of fin root attachment .

It had to be a violent oscillation, though, to plaster itself as quickly as it did. Some form of fin flutter.
