Default build off

I was thinking about how many great builders are on this forum. I was also thinking of having some fun showcase the talent. The idea is a "build off" that will show everyone the talent that is here. Anyone interested could enter. Somehow it is decided what kit is to be built. A time frame would be established to have the kit completed. Photos of the build would be posted as well. Im sure we all would enjoy the process. Smarter members than myself could set this up and run with it. So what does everyone think?

Great Idea!

We did this at the World War I site I used to visit. Everyone builds Fokker Triplanes for instance. It was fun posting pictures as you went along. There were some beautiful builds and lots of different paint schemes.

I don't know what we'd all build, but I'm in if there's interest.

I'd go for it. I love to see how people do different techniques on the rockets.

Fins backward. Kevlar glued in on the outside of the motor tube. I'm well versed in screw-ups.

Comrades:

Astrowolf is right! I propose we build Alway Saturns. Its a little pricey and not much fun on the paint scheme but I could be wrong on that. . . .

I have one of those on order but they won't be available until July. Why don't we warm up with something simpler: a Baby-Bertha -> goony kit bash. Readily available, inexpensive, and anything goes.

Sounds very interesting!

I'm working too many hours to participate at the moment but maybe something clustered and/or staged?
