This is the last Nightwing I built--back in 2010. The underside is quite plain.

Thank you sir, that was a big help. I might add some read to those fins on the bottom to match the top. Great job with the nose cone paper. I had a heck of a time with that.

Oh I simply meant the paper wrap and how well it looks where it meets with the nose cone. I had a hard time getting it to match up with the nose cone and get the correct curve and no wrinkles etc. This was my first time with the wraps, either SR-71 or Nightwing.

Ah so. I understand. Yes, that paper wrap to PNC transition can be tricky.

I never realized that the Nightwing was just a glorified SR-71, the picture on the face card
does not look any where as cool as your model Jeepster.

Thanks. I actually have an unopened kit. I may have to slice it open and build it—even though they seem to fly quite terribly.
