Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Managed to acquire both a Pint and half-Pint of Curtiss Blue.

Still looking for Aero Gloss Cessna Green in any size CAN.

Looking also for any Pint, Quart, and Gallon cans of Aero Gloss dope.

The OLD original formulated Aero Gloss from the 50's to Mid 70's was incompatible with current Brodak/Sig dopes. The stuff produced later than that is compatible. One can differentiate the two by the font on the cans of the "Aero Gloss" and the ingredients on the label.
If it mentions Tricresyl Phosphate it is the old "first generation" stuff.

Randolph products supply Brodak.
Great stuff, but looking for Vintage Aero Gloss.
Got a pint can of Curtiss Blue finally.
Still looking for cans of Cessna Green. I know it's a long shot since those were last produced prior to 1978.
Looking for cans of Silvaire Aluminum as well.
Also searching for Aero Gloss in Bendix Red in ANY container; bottles, jars, or cans.
That color was discontinued prior to 1975.
Any leads appreciated.

It has to be factory-issue for the display.
Kinda like collecting vintage kits.

I have plenty of 1oz and 4oz full jars of Cessna Green, so even an empty can would do.

It sounds like you are almost complete for your display. Good luck on the few evasive pieces to the puzzle. Post a pic when you get a chance.

I'll post a pic when completed.
Still trying to talk the hobby shop out of their almost empty Aero Gloss display rack.

An authentic display rack would be cool. I have a feeling your collection, if not one of a kind, will be close to it.
