Welcome Back, Newbomb!

Since you were gone so long, I think you need to change your screen name to Newbie Turk.

Ha!

Thanks, guys! But enough about me. Let's talk about you. What do you think of me?

And, truth be told, I was actually banned from here by Initiator. He cited some little-known bylaw about physical appearance and minimum required intellectual capacity...

Oh, gosh, I think we all collectively forgot completely about that ban! But, most people think bygones should be bygones.

However, WE are not most people, so the ban is hereby revalidated and completely enforceable. Once your appearance rises to the level of ‘medium grubby’ (the median appearance of 87.34% of YORF members), and an IQ of no less than 89 (see, we value intellect ABOVE appearance around here), the ban will be invalidated and all membership privileges restored.

Because we believe in the personal honesty and integrity of each member here, a text statement that you DO in fact meet these minimum standards will be considered sufficient for membership board review and approval.

I feel your pain. Hallmark movies are on alot in our house ... but they did enable me to work on lots of outdoor projects, and a few rocketry projects, during the recent “Christmas in July” movie marathon.
