Since nobody asked, when are you kitting that?

Seriously, there may be a few who would like to buy a set of those wood parts.

Since I work for Estes I can't offer any Rocket Kits myself. Best I could ever do would be a full size PDF file of the parts or maybe see if a laser cutting service out there would be willing to sell a laser cut set of parts directly to the customer. Lets first see if this one even flies well and then after NARAM 56 we can see if anything more happens with the Navaho.

Any body know this person and maybe how to contact him. This is the only other Navaho I've seen in model rocket form and I would like to know if his smaller version boosted straight. Based on the tittle of the photo I would guess his name is Andy Shector.

Motor selection depends on finished weight. E12's if it's light or E16 or F15 if it's heavy. Most likely the F15 if I had to guess right now.

Looks like you're using the company laser cutter? My X-Acto doesn't leave those burn marks....

I'm jealous really. Makes such a project much more palatable! Let us locals know when you plan to fly it!

Could you sell or give the design to another vendor?

Yes, as I recall he is Andy Shector. I seem to recall him as an LDRS attendee and interviewee in one of my LDRS videos from some years back. As I recall, his "YO BATF" on his cap was an anagram for "Fat Boy", one of his favored Estes upscales.

Seems like he may have been at one of the Kansas LDRS's, but it could have also been one of the ones in Orangeburg, SC.....or maybe Hartsel......or maybe Bonneyville.....or Black Rock......ok, yeah, I'm not really sure which one(s) it may have been.
