So, where are NARAM-63 and NSL 2022 going to be?
The NARAM-62 awards banquet was Friday night. Normally at the NARAM banquet the site of the next year's three events (NARCON, NSL, NARAM) are announced. But it's late Saturday and I haven't seen anything here or on that other forum or on the NAR web site about next year. So.....did they not announce anything?

I asked the same question on the NAR FB page and Ed LeCroix answered that the next NAR eRocketeer email newsletter will have the announcement about the NSL. And NARCON will have a virtual option like this year. https://www.facebook.com/groups/225...158137242170887 Last edited by Scott_650 : 08-01-2021 at 06:23 AM. |

Hi Bernard;
At the end of the banquet, Chad Ring (next year's CD) announced that N63 will be in Springfield, MO, at the Walnut Grove flying field, same as N58. No announcement for NARCON or NSL

Nsl 2022
NSL 2022 will be held over Memorial Day weekend in South Carolina.
That's all the details I have at the moment.

IIRC there’s a club in SC that launches on a huge sod farm but I can’t recall any name or details…but the Outer Banks, including a stop at Wallop’s Island to watch a launch, Charleston, Savannah and the Sea Islands are all in the mix so, hopefully, I’ll be going to the 22 NSL 😎 |

Thanks. On the metric of "I'm never going to drive farther than Muncie to go to NARAM," Springfield is about 300 miles closer. I'm going to have to think about it.

Y'know, Bernard, they've got these magical things called "airplanes" that are wonderful for traveling long distances quickly! Seriously, I travel to NARAM, NARCON, and international events via air all the time. No problem, no drama. James |

ICBM and ROSCO used to fly at the sod farm in Orangeburg, but they lost that after the last NSL they did. Their current site is in Camden/Rembert, SC. Their website doesn't seem to want to show the site, so here is SoAR's page on next week's launch there: https://www.soarrocketry.org/events...aunch-2021-aug/ Of course, this may not be the club or the field that may be announced, but they are the only club in SC that has experience to do a NSL/LDRS type launch. However, they've been kinda kid gloves about this field for a while, no sparkys, low altitudes (last I saw they'd raised the limit to 7000' AGL).
