As far as driving in Florida, I have driven the freeways there many times, mostly between Orlando and Tampa and Ft. Myers.
All I can say is if you are in the far left lane and not FLYING, get OUT of my way.
Yessssss, I do own the whole dammed far left lane.

I hate rules.

I spent a lot of time working in Florida back in the early 1980's (I figured I was there for 3 months in a 12 month period - I was on a first name basis with the bartender at the hotel I usually stayed).
Apparently no one drives the speed limit there. There were two types of drivers - those old retired type's in their Caddy's and Lincolns going 50mph (usually in the left lane), and everyone else doing 25+ over the limit dodging those Caddy's and Lincolns...

Yup, that is about right.

I'm one of the 25+ over drivers.
I HATE freeway speed limits. Wouldn't have a Corvette if I didn't want to fly low.
I could TOLERATE a speed limit if it was say somewhere north of 140 mph.

The public would be FAR better served by traffic cops handing out 10x the "impeding traffic" violations compared to "overspeed" violations.
