Default 2 outer 18mm, central eject rocket

2 outer 18mm, central eject rocket

We tested this bird on a mere 2x A8-3, suitable for schoolyards. Dual B6-4 is also a good selection with a short run to retreive.

The picture of liftoff is kinda cool. This is a BT-50 range diameter.

Very nice! Do you have a RockSim file for that one?

I did a similar project using 24mm engines. There are several pictures on Flickr (see below for links). It failed when the duct holes weren't big enough but it's being repaired and should be in the air again soon.

There is a RockSim file in another thread on this forum, and a launch video in another. Just do a search for "Double Barrel."

Nope. Wanna make one?

The 1" OD tubes are 12" and 5". The fin is 4" root and 1.625" span. The nose cones are 2.625" long.

It has a 3" paper coupler but look closely at the rear ejection tail. It has a short 1" coupler, a tube thrust ring 1/2" long and a rear screw eye in the wood plate in the coupler.

I'm at work now. I'll work on one over the weekend unless someone else does one first.

All of the tubes are the same diameter? It looks like the central tube is two parts. How long is each part? Do you have a balsa tube coupler in there or a regular paper coupler?
