You'll have to look up Jenkem on Google or Urban Dictionary.
I don't want to be in the YORF "penalty box" by annoying Scott.
It's a real doozy. Give it a try and let us know.

Smoking disclaimers on TV programs ? WTH ?
Enough of the Smoking shaming already. Tobacco is a LEGAL PRODUCT, despite all the weenies and mamby-pambys. If it was up to me, I'd put ashtrays back on shopping carts and disallow any smoking regulation. Sick of erosion of personal freedoms for ANY reason.

We should get back to size shaming on a National, State, and Local level instead.
I saw someone 2 weeks ago that was at LEAST FOUR feet WIDE. The car they disembarked from lurched upward as soon as they got out. It was ridiculous and WAY beyond morbidly obese.
I know some struggle with weight issues, but this was ABSURD.

WTF is jenkum anyway?

Wow, I had to look that actress up as I knew she'd have to be ANCIENT by now. Pretty close: she was 96.

Yes, that was a strange show...different than most other Saturday morning fare by far in those days, closely matched by its follow-on program a year or so later (by the same Sid and Marty Krofft group) 'Lidsville' with Charles Nelson Reilly as the main villian (she was in that one, too).

Oh, and thanks Bill: I've got that song going in MY head now!!!

Earl

I never watched more than an episode of both of these, and I can still sing parts of the theme songs. Six and seven year old minds are scary.

HR Puffnstuff creeped me out when I was a kid. It was not a part of my Saturday viewing but I do remember a few episodes (Oranges, Poranges there's another one).

Other Sid and Marty Krofft shows I did like - The Banana Splits and Land of the Lost.

I NEVER missed an episode of HR Puffnstuff! Ah the memories!: HR, Jimmy, witchiepoo, Freddy the flute, “The Boids”, Ludicris Lion, Stupid bat, the sneezing house, etc, etc, etc. Hey, I didn’t write that sh**, I only watched it.

……..and now I’ll have that dumb song in my head for the rest of the day.

“HR Puffnstuff, he’s your friend when things get rough. HR Puffnstuff, you can’t do a little but you can’t do enough.” Etc, etc. etc.
