Lepercey
Lepercey.
I thought this condition was wiped out years ago? Last week an elderly woman came through my line with the worst case I have ever seen! My first time of ever seeing it in person. I was shocked and full of remorse. I treated her like any other person and I did not stare at her. It's 21's century. Where is medicine today.

After looking at the Wikipedia page on leprosy, about 200 cases of it occur in the U.S. annually. So it is still out there, but it can be cured with multicourse treatment with several antibiotics. The place that you would most likely encounter it would be in India.

It mostly occurs now in unsanitary fecal-pit countries.
