Gotz ta LOVE a POWR-PRANGG !

Despite only one motor igniting in your upscaled Atlantis, it looks like you need WAY more motor power in that thing. Like some Quest/Aerotech 18mm Ds.

, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, AGITATION, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, AGGRAVATION, INSTIGATION, NUISANCE-ACTION, and HAVOC !

You were the first person I thought of when that motor kicked in facing the parking lot. Gotta agree with you, especially since damage was minimal and no one was close to the divot zone.
I like the idea of the Quest motors in the Atlantis, but I'm not confident the pods could stand up to the extra thrust. Intriguing thought, nonetheless.

Thanks for reading, Bernard. Days like that one make me glad I discovered this hobby. It was a great day to be out.

Win, Lose, or Draw, your flight reports are always interesting and entertaining.
I wish I had 10% of the opportunities to fly rockets as you.
Just don't have a site anymore even reasonably close.
I fly R/C aircraft almost exclusively now due to our nice club flying site, but no rockets allowed.
Back before my divorce, I flew through small "H" power in my backyard that bordered a 500+ acre soybean farm. I had permission to recover on the farm. Used to fly 3-4 times a month up til 2010.

The U.S.S. Atlantis flight was great, and no rockets, humans, or pets were harmed in that flight!
I started singing Ratt's "Round and Round" chorus in my head while watching it.

I'm lucky to live in a community that is tolerant of the hobby, and that uses it in grade aschool and middle school curriculum, so no one really pays a lot of attention when I commandeer B6-4 Field for my own purposes. It helps that I always defer to the ball teams. I'm also pretty lucky to have large model rocket and mid to high power fields withing a 90 minute drive. Not sure how long I'll consider it a good time to drive that kind of distance, but for now I'm good with it.

I had stripper pole thoughts watching the flight. In slo-mo it would just about time out perfectly to that chorus, but I think it would lose something in the transfer.

Hi Bill,

Great stuff as usual; it's good that the Dorothy Hamill "flight" was damage free.
