Much better to under promise and over deliver than to do the opposite. The FSI part is particularly irritating because they went to NARAM last year with actual kits and it seemed they would be relaunching more any minute...and then nothing. Agree that the SEMROC sale has restored my faith a bit. Anything is possible. I think for the most part, the issue is that these companies are not the company owners' primary income source and are therefore perpetually on the back burner. Just my opinion.

I harbor great suspicion toward companies that can't even be bothered to take 10 minutes (if that) to remove a web page that promises something they can't deliver six months later.

I had been wondering of late what had happened with the FSI revival. As I seem to recall, one of the new owners had posted here a couple times of the great new things that would (soon) be coming out, and seemed to say it with quite some level of enthusiasm. Then, nothing.

I know even the best of plans can get sidetracked, especially, as has already been noted, that many of these efforts are sideline 'after-hours' endeavors (I operated Point 39 Productions on that basis for 13 years and it was tough working a regular career job AND a part-time business), but still hope things come together for the new FSI effort.

Q-modeling still has their banner ad here and a website saying 'returning soon'.
Guess my definition of 'soon' is FAR shorter than FOUR YEARS.
What a joke.

I think we are more likely to see new production Enerjet F67, F52, and E24 engines along with actual production 18mm Enerjet D21's.

It is frustrating to see. But the way Randy is going he'll have the kits available before they do! Go Randy!

Randy already has Semroc V3 producing Goblin and Bandit kits.

Over-promising and UNDER-delivering by others drives me nuts.

The ONLY thing I can say negative about Semroc in the past is that they never came out with their line of engines, but those were never PUBLICLY announced.
Carl only shared that with a select few, and he unfortunately literally ran out of time.
Semroc in the past has been the GOLD standard of all hobby companies.
I hope Randy can live up to 50% of Carl's reputation; that in itself would be great.

As for Q-modeling, they need to take a page from Carl's Ops Manual; if you can't positively back up what you say, don't say anything. I have given up hope for them.

Default Semroc V3

Semroc is in good hands because Sheryl took her time to select a buyer, and then made a great choice. She deserves a lot of credit for the continuance of the Semroc tradition.

Still seeing those Q-Modeling banner ads for a non-existent website.

Is there anything new on this vaporware that was supposed to relaunch in 2012, then 2014, then soon, blah blah blah ?

I'm confident we will see the relaunch of genuine Enerjet kits and motors prior to this.

Gotz ta flog the dead horse at least once a year.

Yep, missed 2019 and 2020 as well.
Not gonna waste my time anymore.
Pure Vaporware; lots of words in past with zero action. What a joke.
