Default IPI Toys Apollo 11 C/M-L/M Model

IPI Toys Apollo 11 C/M-L/M Model
I was given this model about 2002/2003 for a Christmas gift.
I never open the package but my step children did and broke a few parts.
Does anyone have this model?
Did it come with instructions to change the batteries?
One was sold on Feebay in December for $125.00. This model sold for about $33.00 USD.

I received this model also as a gift about the same time frame, as best as I recall. It is a fairly well done model set with detachable modules and stages. Mine was on my desk at work for years.

As best as I recall the recording still worked years later and I’m sure I never changed the batteries. I don’t recall an instruction sheet, though there may very well have been one. Don’t have the packaging any longer.

Comrades:

The battteries are under the Ascent Stage. Pull it straight up (it's friction-fit) with low steady pressure to expose a battery lid in the top of the Descent Stage.

Pro Tip: Take the batteries out if it sits for a long time.
