Question Pml

I heard/read that Public Missiles Ltd. has been acquired by LOC, is that true?

True. LOC posted the news on their FB page.

Took a quick look at both the Public Missiles and LOC websites - both companies have the same address and general phone number with a separate specific number for PML. From the general discussion on TRF and FB it appears as if LOC is going to keep the Public Missiles brand and designs going as is. Iíve never built a PML kit or used their ďQuantumĒ tubing but it looks like the folks that like their stuff really like it. Good for the owner of PML - looks like heís retiring - and good for LOC expanding their business and keeping PML going.

Thumbs up

I believe it was a couple of years ago now, but LOC either sold or was experimenting with a phenolic tubing for some rocket kits. Iím thinking Jesse Ullibari built and launched one or two of those kits? Iím thinking now with LOC acquiring PML thatíll fill their thirst for another type of rockets and parts, etc. to sell. Looking forward to whatís all going to come out from them soon.

yes, Allen Isdell told us about it at last night's SoAR meeting. For the moment the PML site will still be running and treated as if it were a separate business, but everything will be out of the LOC location (I think he said they finished moving everything there this week).
