Cloning Centuri Rockets F-16
I have been cloning a few rockets for the last six months, mostly Estes kits. I'm starting to do some Centuri kits now starting with the F-16. It is almost complete, needing the motor assembly glued in and recovery system installed.
The last detail I need is the sidewinder rockets for the wing tips. I have few decals left to place but I'm not sure where they go, any ideas or help would be appreciated. I did change the nose cone to an Estes Venom nose cone. I will replace it with the Estes F-15 Screaming Eagle nose cone soon. I'm planning to clone the F-15 next but I don't have a clue as to the length of the body tube or the correct size outline of the wing and tail parts like the F-16 did. Any help out there? Daniel |

Take a look at this thread in the TRF archive on the F15, perhaps it can help a little.
http://www.rocketryforumarchive.com...t=centuri+eagle airwolfe1 surmised the patterns could be gained through up-scaling the patterns in the plans. And he posted the results in the old rockets yahoo group.

Centuri F-15 Rocket Clone
Thanks Tim,
Looks like airwolfe1 posted the Fiber Board Fin Set and not an enlargment. I wish someone would post this in JimZ plan site and/or YORP site. Anyone build this as a clone? Daniel |
