Unfortunately, neither the Dupli-Color, nor the Seymour is available locally. However, my local walmart carries Rustoleum. Could you do a comparison of the Seymour with the Rustoleum automotive primers in the future? It's about half the price of Seymour.

I used a different DupliColor filler primer (not FP-101) on my Viking for NARAM and it was a mixed success. I think the only reason I got third place in C Division is that there was so much carnage. But the Viking flew beautifully.
Perhaps the Dupli-Color DAP1688 Sandable Primer? I bought that by mistake one time, it was awful IMO.

I have 2 cans of the 3M Bondo left, I might do a side-by-side with that and the Seymour.

I'm not a fan of Rustoleum primer, so that's unlikely. The only thing I use it for is when I need a low-cost white primer.

I need to build something else with big fins!

No, it was DAP 1700 Hi Build primer. As I say, my results were mixed....

I have one or two different cans of Rusto, FP101, and the Seymour discussed here. Will be interesting to get sanding.
