Starfire
Just finished my Centuri Starfire clone, using Semroc parts. Here's a pic:
Had a bit of a problem masking the fin/boattail seams, but finally got it to look OK. Decals were printed on Testor's clear decal paper. Now to finish my Nomad (just need to apply the decals and chrome strips)

I had a similar problem when I rebuilt my Estes Calypso (BT-50 version of the Starfire...). The best tape I've found so far (and not to imply that it is the best) is 3M's blue Painter's Tape. Good tack, not too much, not too little; seems to work better than the Duck brand version which looks just like it. Great looking model!

Here's the Nomad - Parts from Semroc, decals by Tango Papa. Fins and strakes are paper laminated balsa... I still have to buy some chrome foil or Mylar to create the two bands that go around the middile of the rocket.
This was a fun build!

Here's the finished Nomad, posing for its "official fleet" shot. It flew nicely on a B6-4 last weekend at Southern Thunder.
