Streamer material.
Back in the day, nearly all streamers were crepe paper. At some time they converted to 1" wide, plastic ribbon (usually pink.)
Crepe paper I can get, but where does one buy the 1" wide pink plastic ribbon? If I knew it's commercial use I could probably find it. Surveying? Construction? Highway maintenance? Thanks!

Polyethylene plastic flagging tape https://www.mcmaster.com/flagging-tape
You can get the same stuff in the hardware section of Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot or most any hardware. But Teflonrocketry1 prefers to use 1” wide Teflon pipe joint sealing tape https://www.mcmaster.com/3m-pipe-thread-sealant-tape that doesn’t melt or burn.

Barricade/flagging tape is cheap, one roll may last you the rest of your life.

Jeffy,
For our yearly Maker Faire sessions at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit we replace the Make-It-Take-It parachutes with pink flagging material I buy from Home Depot. Really cheap and works well. Now if you want to discuss some ridiculously expensive hi-tech competition streamer alternatives, I can help you with that as well, LOL. Steve |

Shreaddy Freddy's gonna get you for calling it crepe paper!!!!
I still call it crepe paper just to spite him! BTW, I replace the chutes for our schools so we can get them down in small playgrounds. I use the classic 2" crepe paper. It's free, sorta (schools already have it), and they color coordinate with their classrooms. Miss Crabtree's class is yellow, Miss Crump's is blue, Miss Canfield's is green, Miss Landers' is red (because it's the color of love, right Beaver?)

So many color choices! Now the hard part is choosing the color.

Fred has many enlightening posts, links, twenty seven 8 x 10 glossy photos with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back explaining each one, etc. about what it should be called. You can sit down on the Group W bench and read all about it in this thread. https://oldrocketforum.com/showthre...ght=crepe+paper .
