Interesting that your 1969 B14-0 looks to be at least 1/4" longer than the 1979 one.

I kind of suspect the deep core of the ‘real’ Estes and Centuri B14’s was ditched sometime in the latter 70’s (Estes was once again making the Centuri motors), and that they were ALL probably B8’s by then. It does, but just a parallax issue. They are indeed the same length. Phone was held at an angle to try to avoid my shadow from overhead lights, and close enough to try to see down the nozzle. Also, the motor nozzle differences are much more dramatic looking at them in person vs. seeing a photo.
