My favorite R/C covering was a Sig Somethin' Extra in fluorescent orange and blue, which gives similar contrast. It's the only one ever covered that didn't match the kit cover art.

Hopefully these fotos will help, but possibly only cause more confusion.

The older facecard, the one signed by Lee, shows conflicting info. The small flying images off to the left are clearly different from the large graphic. The large graphic looks similar to what's in the 71 catalog, but clearly different from the 65 catalog. But the color scheme is reversed with the nosecone being black instead of the white of the little graphic. And what exactly is happening in the 1st stage fin fillet area is hard to say. Extra launch lugs??

Newer facecard shows the scheme that appears in the 71 catalog. Similar to the earlier small graphics on the earlier facecard.

So, lots of choices.

The fin fillet areas are wood braces that are glued into the fin/body joints for extra strength.
