Need Inkjet Decal Paper Recommendation!
I'm currently less than satisfied with my current inkjet decal paper which is a brand called "Printers Jack" that I got on Amazon. The edges tend to roll up when applying the decals and It's difficult to get all the air bubbles out. It also doesn't tolerate Solvaset which I like to use to snug down decals over uneven surfaces.
Is there a brand of paper that acts more like silk-screened decals you would get in a commercial kit? From what I can see, commercial decals are a tad thicker which may be why they have fewer issues. Cartograph makes the best decals on the planet but they are almost exclusively seen in plastic model kits. Anyway, I appreciate any recommendations or also letting me know if there are any other brands I should stay away from. Thanks, Don |

I've used the "Sunnyscopa Waterslide Decal Paper for INKJET Printer " that you can get on Amazon.
If your edges are rolling up soak it in water longer until the decal unrolls itself. You are not going to get thick opaque decals like they were silk-screened from an inkjet printer. That said, I am satisfied with this paper. Easy to use. I use a Canon MG5220 inkjet printer and spray Krylon clear lacquer over the decals to seal them.

Thank you. I've heard others recommended the Sunnyscopa laser decal paper for those printers so I might just give that brand a try.
I know I'm not going to get the opacity of silk screen decals on an inkjet, but am just looking for a paper that "behaves" a little better during application. My experience with the Printer's Jack was that leaving it in the water longer only made the problem worse. Thanks again for the recommendation! Don |

If in doubt, Micro-Mark will always have quality decal materials. I've never had a bad batch from them, plus they have all the setting solutions and accessories you need.
Inkjet and Laser decal paper Solutions .

I'll second the Sunnyscopa decal sheets.
I'm really happy with the results.

Yes, and shipping is reasonable. I forgot about them having the same stock. Have you ordered lately to make sure it's still the same stock? The upside to M-M is the quality. If for some reason there is a bad batch, they stand by the product, or at least used to. I haven't ordered anything from them in a while.

So bummed that Testors quit making their inkjet decal paper. That is the only paper I've used for the last 20 years or so. Six 5.5" x 8.5" sheets, often bought them using 40-50% off coupons at Micheals/Hobby Lobby
SIGH. https://www.amazon.com/Testors-Deca..._pb_opt?ie=UTF8

Gotta agree with George here on this one.
Testors paper over all others.
