There is another "like new" Xacto #89 tool cabinet on ebay now if anyone is interested.
Price is a bit steep at $299.00.

Estes stopped selling Xacto products and other building/finishing supplies between 1977 and 1978.
They were in the '77 catalog and gone in '78.
A lot of my favorites Estes kits were discontinued in '78 also. The K29 Saturn 1B, K37 Astron Scrambler, and Astron Skydart were sadly gone for 1978.

I found this in a box I inherited from the neighbor. Thought I would offer it to someone here before posting it on eBay. The price range seems to vary a lot. Anywhere from $40 to $100.

I want to think I remember them still selling some of that stuff in single sheet sales flyers thrown in with orders after 77, but I might be mistaken. Centuri still sold them from their Centuri Rocket Times publication through 78.

Currently there are giant #33 xacto skiving blades on ebay for $1.59 each, which is a bargain.
I paid Sue $25 for one about 6mos ago.

Do you have a link for that? I searched but could not find them, unless someone has bought them out already.

Just search under "Xacto 33" and it comes right up on ebay.

Well...I searched on everything ‘Xacto #33’ related I could come up with and could get nothing. Just then though: boom! ...there it came. Not sure what was the issue. Maybe the listing was temporarily offline or something.
