Wow, what a treat! Tonight I looked at Jupiter with just my Leupold 10X roof prism binoculars. I braced my elbows on the hood of the Jeep and I was able to see at least (2) of the major moons—but just briefly—then it was obscured by clouds.

Yeah, I'm just back inside myself from looking at Jupiter with my Nikon 7x and I was able to see three of the four larger moons. Two on the left side, one on the right. Very clear here, thankfully. Low humidity too, which is rare for us, even in September though it is improving some over May-August humidity levels.
