Estes Rewards Program
I went to the Estes website today, and noticed a Rewards Program signup offer.
Enrolling gives you advance notices of new products, special announcements, special sales prices, etc., a reward on your birthday (no hint at what that surprise might be). The most interesting for me was free shipping on ordets over $50. In the past the free shopping came up periodically, and it is going on currently, but it’s nice to see it offered permanently to members of the program. It’s essy and painless, but: Signup requires selecting your birthday from a calendar. Click on the month at the top (like September 2022), instrad of using the arrow to go bak a month, and you can fly backward thru the years! Thankfully I dicovered that feature, or I would still be scrolling month by month.

Will the rewards points be retroactive back to 1968–when I first launched? I’m guessing not.

That would be nice. I placed my first order in 1964 (OK, it was my mom who got me a money order, or wrote a check, but my name was on the order …) Waiting for a mail order to arrive was not as bad for me as some, since I lived in Colorado. I still remember the excitement opening that long skinny box and looking at all the cool stuff inside!
