Are you referring to the two knives on page 5? I think those are listed as 1G and 2G. But, I’ve never heard or seen them before, either. Must not have been around long at all. Earl

![]() Still keeping and eye open for additional Xacto catalogs, but nothing new in several months now. There is a 1966 Krylon paint catalog on eBay right now and it is up to $100 already! I'm glad the Xacto catalogs don't seem to go for quite that price! They are generally around $20-$25 or so.

![]() Read a bit of Xacto history just a bit ago that I was not really clear about relative to when Hunt Manufacturing took over.
At some point in the 1970s (not sure exactly when; maybe early 70s I think), Xacto was purchased by CBS. What I just read was that Hunt then bought Xacto from CBS in March, 1981. The other part I have not been sure about is when Xacto left their long-standing Long Island City, NY location where they had been located for a number of decades. It seems that in April, 1985 Hunt Manufacuring moved the Xacto operations from Long Island City to their Statesville, NC manufacturing location. At some point later Hunt sold Xacto to Elmer (the glue people), but I have not been able to find out when. Not sure either that Xacto went directly from Hunt to Elmer. Earl
