I didn't plan it this way, but decided to paint my Quinstar with Candy Apple red, and it turned out a great compliment to our tree.

This is a really fun build, and required very little finishing. I put only one coat of Midwest sanding sealer on the surfaces to receive decals, a few coats of the red, and a coat of clear. I did add a small piece of balsa to the sides, which seemed like a weak point. No other mods.
