Thanks Turbofire. I had a feeling that was the case!

Actually, the motors are there. I had the seller dig them out for me. They added a couple pictures, still in the tube.

Please remember, this "Ebay Deals" thread is for posting 'good' or attractive listings on eBay. The "eBay Silliness" thread is for posting some of the more 'cooky' eBay items. Sometimes THIS thread gets mistakenly used for the latter.

Well, went for $255. I didn’t think it would go cheap. Nice set though.

Ya, more than I wanted to pay even though I've never seen that set in the wild before. I'll console myself with the water damage to the box killing the value.

For all those times when you wanted to buy a Cox Saturn 1b and have an extra one to give to a friend, well your dreams have come true! Just be sure to give your wallet a second check before ya lay down your bids. This one may go for a good handful of presidential portraits on green paper.

Not my listing nor do I know the lister.

Could be a number of people thinking about which of their rocket buddies might want to go half-sies. (And then argue over who gets the launcher ...)

Final price for the dual Cox Saturn 1b auction was $360, about in keeping with the roughly $200 each these typically bring.

There was a Nike Zeus kit with two booster stages that was sold by the same seller and it went for $128.

Absolutely ridiculous for a heavy clunker of a S1B.
I wouldn't give 10% of that.

This seller has some fairly decent multi-kit Buy It Now deals on old MPC kits. Looks like there are two separate batches with 3-4 kits per batch, ranging from $35 to $40 for the batch. About $10 per kit, which is not too bad, if you are looking for some vintage kits to build. Looks like they are all still shrink wrapped too.

Not my listing nor do I know the lister.

These old kits are fun to build and are so old they come with a fiberglass cube for recovery wadding.
