New Design -- Centuri Excalibur 1.37X
For the "2010" Designers thread":
We all know I'm incapable of leaving well enough alone. To that end, I took Carl's RockSim file for his Semroc take on the Centuri Excalibur. (Purists will note that the catalog model used a PNC-74 , but the kit came with a PNC-76.) I upscaled the ST-7 to an ST-10 (1.37X), and then had to "make do" by upscaling the ST-8 to an ST-13 (1.48X). Fins are 3/32" balsa. I also found that Testor's Model Master spray paint is available in Metallic Turquoise (evil chuckle), and I'll need to get the original decals converted to black instead of red, and upscaled accordingly. (Methinks the two bands that go around the lower tube will need to be slightly longer than the original.) Granted, this *isn't* a 1.75X SLS version, but I was just "making do" with an upscale nose cone that I happened to have. .

Fin Patterns
Two sheets. Sheet one has the forward fins, and sheet two has 2 of the main fins. You will need 2 copies of sheet two.
