*Yes.*

With those ping-pong balls, it looks kind of like "Centuri Guy meets Shrox." Or vice-versa.

*Another* good one, JP! Keep 'em comin'!

Cheers,

Use a tower launch system of 60" to 72" for this model, due to the size and power requirements. No launch lugs are shown on the model.

Enjoy!

Craig Hi

This model is about the same size as our 433% upscale Javelin.

It is 54" tall and has a dia. of 2.340 we used 1/4" launch lugs on ours and a 6' launch rod.
The built rocket came out a lot lighter than rocksim said it would, we built three of them
1 15.9 oz. 2 15.2 oz. 3 15.0 oz. they were all flown on a H128-10 with great results,
My wife, my son and myself all got our level 1 cert. with this rocket . I did mine at NSL 06
My wife and son flew at NARAM 48
We were thinking of making a kit of this and the Sky Raider and a few others for a small
series of high power upscales here are some pic of the Javelin.
hope you like.

Mark,

Your specs don't really surprise me that much; it wouldn't be the first time the RockSim database values were in error. There's a whole bunch of Estes/BMS/Apogee value sets that are not correct.

I wish I had the time to put together a new database (set of CSV files) for RockSim with correct values all the way through. Maybe someone else on this forum can "step up to the plate" and create a fully-corrected set. I've opened these files up in Excel, so making the changes is easier outside of RockSim than from within. I've just got too many other projects on my plate right now...

Have a few design ready to post finally. I'll start out with one named after an Ozzy Osbourne song. Crazy Train!

Also follows is the Guardian 18mm as promised.

Thanks,

James Pierson

I decided to upscale and lengthen the Sparrow Dart as well.

And here is the Sky Shadow 13mm as promised also.

Thanks,

Lightbulb New Designs

Here is another design based on the Lord of the Rings sword called Sting. The blade glows blue when Orce's and Goblins are near.

Also here is a design called the Turf Dart as the name Lawn Dart is taken.

That should bring the total of Barclone designs to a wopping 299!!!

I leave the honor of the 300th Barclone design to whomever gets it first. lol

JP once accused me of keeping all my really cool designs to myself. I told him I was right.

However, I'm not *completely* greedy, but digging this one up took a bit. Especially since I hadn't bothered to put the official name in the file.

So here you go. This is "Century 24-point-5." Just because.

(Extra points to whoever gets the inside joke.)

Cheers,

Wow. What kind of fin material does that require?

Cheers,

I'm betting Jay's design is a salute to Duck Dodgers in the 24th and a half Century...take a look at those fins...it's Daffy's beak profile.

(so, Jay, can I use those extra points for a discount on a Tau Zero?)

Well, let's see. Carl's already giving you a 10% NAR discount, so... Gosh, no, I can't seem to make that work.

However, you may want to check your PM for an updated parts list (which is a work in progress).

Thanks, and enjoy,
