Much better than a 21mm D20.

I wish they had gone with blue thunder since WL swells in moderately humid environments and gets harder and harder to light. Should be fun if you don’t hoard them. |

Agreed. White Lighting can be very frustrating. My experience with the now-discontinued D10s has been full of multiple tries to get the things to light, though they are fun when they do go. Blue Thunder would be less frustrating for sure.
Bob - just D20s? Or White Lightning in lower total impulses as well (though I can’t see why - the C12s are full Cs and work really well)? I can’t imagine that WL motors for the education market would be anything but a step back from the Q-Jet As and Bs as they now exist.

Does AeroTech even care about that? All they have to do is switch to low micron AL from Mg. Problem solved. I will cheerfully ship them their first 50 pounds for free. That will make more than 1300 lb propellant (28,300 motors). Last edited by Ltvscout : 03-10-2020 at 09:21 PM. |

I was AeroTech's first dealer and I can be their best savior of white lightning storability. Gary would have to violate ethics and buy me a beer. Okay, near beer.
