Default SLS XKits?

OK, OK, I know we haven't even seen the "regular" xkits yet, but the notion's got me percolating on the idea of "SLS XKits"...

Wouldn't anybody else like to build some nice SLS-sized Constellations, X-Rays, Cobras, et al?

I've already made and sold some I guess you could call them SLS size Constellation and an Astron Sprint.

Don't know about the SLS designation but they are based on the BT-56 or ST-13 body tubes.

The only one I left out is my Goony Constepation. I can't find the pic. It's somewhere.

Yea! You read that right!

Isn't the SLS designation "SEMROC Large Scale"?

Yes, however BT-56 or ST-13 body tubes do not meet the tubing specifications to be SLS. They would have to be built with LT-125 to be true SLS. Sandman's models are however beautiful upscales of the originals

This is the description of "What is SLS" included in my SLS Scorpion instructions booklet:

What is SLS?
SLS is short for Semroc Large-Scale Rocketry. Based on the original Centuri Large Scale Line using larger, thicker-walled body tubes, Semroc is introducing several models in the Mid-Power range. Most of the models will fly on 24mm and 29mm engines in the C through G (and small H) impulse levels. Featured in the family are laser-cut bass-wood fins, Nylon chutes, and laser-slotted tubes allowing much more robust construction designed to last for years of flying.

I received this from Carl a while back regarding SLS tubes;

Our normal SLS parts are all 1.75% upscale

ST-5 -> LT-085 175%
ST-7 -> LT-125 175%
ST-8 -> LT-150 175%
ST-10-> LT-175 175%
ST-13-> LT-225 175%
ST-16-> LT-275 175%

I've got one of your absolutely beautiful Constellations...it's just awaiting its turn in the paint booth.
