I bought two of these kits but I haven’t opened either kit up yet to notice that all of the DRM decals were not included, that’s a bummer
Guess I’ll need to check that out and order some decals from Stickershock ... I can’t have naked DRM fins!

I asked Estes if I could buy and extra set of decals and they said they were not available.

I have some spares from the 4" Mega Red Max, but they're too big. And of course spare "plain Jane" DRM decals are too small!

Does the red show through the skull a bit on the wrap-around, or is that my imagination?

It’s not your imagination. The large skulls on the wrap and on the fin are a little “pinkish”. If I build another one I might pre-whiten the wrap area with white paint or with adhesive film.

So, I just applied the decals to my 3" Der Big Red Max, and found once again, Estes didn't include white hands, white feet, white X882, and the black "Top Secret" decals. It's a reallly nice model, but those are rather glaring omissions.

Rats.

I'll have to contact Stickershock and see if he's willing to make a sets of just those.
