This type material is used for the tripod mounting plate and the azimuth protractor mounting plate. The upper headworks plate is made of 1/4" thick tempered hardboard.

The star (or spider) chain for the tripod legs looks to be very close to 16 or 17 gauge jack chain similar to this one: https://shoprainbowartglass.com/dec...gge-10-per-unit . One length of the chain is 24-7/8" and spans between two leg assemblies. Another length of the chain is 12-1/2", and connects to the mid-point of the other chain. All the outer ends are connected to eyebolts in the legs with 0.092" wire diameter x 1/2" wide x 1-1/16" long S-hooks. I will be providing additional details soon...

Here are the revised S-hook details: 0.092" wire diameter x 1/2" x 1" long. Bolt Depot has these product #24269 S-hooks for $0.76 each: https://boltdepot.com/S-Hooks_Light...?Selected=24269
These will work well and will match up nicely. Once hooked in place, you can easily squeeze them closed with a pair of pliers.

I also found a good local source for quarter inch thick tempered hardboard 4 ft. x 8 ft. sheet for $21.49 at Do it Best Hardware Stores: https://www.doitbest.com/product/11...d-panel-112531/
They even cut it in half for me free, so I could get it in my car! This quarter inch tempered hardboard is used for the top tracker head plate that has the bullseye orbit level attached and is the base for the yoke assembly that holds the sight elevation protractor half disk mount and sight tube. I will have plenty now, but I can use this on other projects, too, like for the triangular base plate on the Centuri LIA-100 launcher: https://forums.rocketshoppe.com/sho...17&postcount=10

Hi Mike,

My post #108 does provide the dimensions. See above. Additional dimensions for the Centuri Model Rocket Altitude Computer sheet are provided in David Stribling's (rocketguy101) post #86 of this thread: https://forums.rocketshoppe.com/sho...90&postcount=86
