R/C airplane foam wing contact cement ?
Hello all.
Years ago Sig used to sell Core-Bond, Kwik-Bond, and Foam-Bond contact cements for bonding Balsa or 1/64 Plywood skins to foam wing cores. They all contained Perchloroethlyene as the solvent carrier so as to not attack the foam. Regular Contact Cement won't work due to usually having a solvent package similar to dope thinner. None of those exist any longer. Does anyone know of a Contact Cement that now exists that is foam-core compatible ? Before anyone asks, NO, I do not want to use Epoxy or Foam-Compatible CA.
