Thanks! I appreciate the correction on those figures. Can't explain where the lengthened numbers came from. The corrected version is right on the mark, even though the BC-13 cone is marginally short for the measurement of the PNC-50Y of the original...

New Design: Neptune Lander
Well, since most of the planets are take I decided to call this one the Neptune Lander . Craig and I seem to have worked the kinks out of this one via e-mail.
This lander is a mini motor version and should be a great ball field flyer. It should reach an altitude of 225 feet and fly on an A10T-3 only. I think I hear the shouts for an upscale version of this one already. I hope you enjoy this one. James Pierson NAR #77907 |

New Plan -- Helixicon
From a suggestion by James Pierson...
A derivitave of the Swizzle Stick and Swizzle Pick, this tube-fin design features a Double-Helix grouping of the tubes instead of the standard one-row or two-row evenly-aligned groups seen typically. Static margins are 8.5 and above when loaded. Length: 29" Diameter: 1.34" (ST-13) Fin Span: 1.84" Weight: 5.39 oz D21-4.......524'.....3 FPS.....20" Rod E15-4.......980'.....7 FPS.....31" Rod F21-W4.....1172'.....9 FPS.....24" Rod All configurations are using a 3/16" diameter 36" launch rod... BP motors are not recommended, as this design requires a higher initial peak thrust to get the model moving. Skill Level 2+ Enjoy!

New Designs: The Ringer and Mini Ringer
Here is a pair of rockets that I whipped up. The Ringer and the Mini Ringer. They may be a bit of a challenge to built but I like the unique design aspect of these rockets. I hope all or you will enjoy them as well. Any suggestions on these design are welcome.
Thanks Again, JP James Pierson NAR #77907 |

New Plan -- Baby Cherokee
If you can have a Baby Bertha, why not a Baby Cherokee???
This was an idea that came to me when I had the 4" payload body and NC stuck to the top of the 3.5" booster body of the CDD. Instant satisfaction with the looks! Simplifying things a bit, this is a single 7.5" length of BT-55 with a standard 18mm mount, and the booster fins from the CDD. Length: 12.9" Diameter: 1.32" Fin Span: 5.27" Weight: 1.48 oz A8-3......192'......3 FPS.....36" Rod B4-4......477'.....12 FPS.....36" Rod B6-4......485'.....17 FPS.....36" Rod C6-5.....1050'.....23 FPS.....36" Rod Skill Level 1. Enjoy!

New Plan -- Solarian
Another simple, no-frills 4FNC that should get flown a lot. Nothing is more frustrating than a model which has something break off each time it's flown. Solarian has nothing but fins and launch lugs...
This model has excellent flight performance on 24mm "C", "D" and "E" motors. Skill Level 1+ Length: 25.4" Diameter: 1.325" (BT-55) Fin Span: 6.67" Weight: 3.5 oz Requires a 3/16" diameter 48" launch rod. C11-5......485'.....11 FPS D12-7.....1100'.....25 FPS E9-8......1780'.....29 FPS (Reef the chute) Enjoy!

New Design: Shock Wave
Here is another design I came up with. This design was very much an accident and not what I intended originally. After much modification I ended up with a much shorter and lighter version. It might make a good Gooney Bird if it had some crazy decals to go with it.
Thanks and Enjoy, James Pierson NAR #77907 |

New Image -- Swallow
Another in the "Schoolyard Sounders" series.
A nice little flyer with angular styling. For 13mm motors. Skill Level 1. Length: 17.3" Diameter: 0.908" (ST-8) Fin Span: 2.3" Weight: 0.78 oz A3-4T.....485'.....9 FPS Enjoy!
