By popular demand, the "Triskeliceptor." Thanks to Jim Flis for the name and for the Triskelion kit from which this is bashed. Pictures over on the "Fiskits Triskelion Bash" thread. Sorry, but I don't have Rocksim. Here are the instructions; patterns to follow.

Not a great scan; I'll get a better one up tomorrow.

Exclamation New Plan -- Tau Centauri

Trying to get this thread back into the design of rockets, I "borrowed" Jay's Tau Zero fin pattern for this one. The ring tail is increased to complement the size of the rear body tube. I also "borrowed" the open-frame structure of the Estes Scorpius engine nacelle to form the inter-connection between the crew compartment and the reactor drive sections.

This design has some similarities to the Ambassador's Transport...

Length: 25.2"
Diameter: 1.04" (ST-10)
Ring Fin Diameter: 2.34" (LT-225)
Fin Span: 5.56"
Weight: 2 oz

C6-3......538'......21 FPS......36" rod, 1/8" diameter

The C6-3 is the only motor recommended.

Enjoy!

Exclamation New Plan -- Tau Draconis

Another "Schoolyard Sounder", as well as another in the TAU series...

Length: 21.21"
Diameter: 1.04" (BC-760)
Ring Diameter: 2.22" (BT-70)
Fin Span: 3.9"
Weight: 1.2 oz

A10-3T......190'......21 FPS......36" rod, 1/8" diameter

The A10-3T is the only recommended motor for this model.

Enjoy!

Default New Design: Little Sage Brush

Nice designs with the Tau's Craig. I really like these designs with the wild and wacks fins.

Little Sage Brush:
This design, as one could say, is a spin-off of the Tumbleweed design. I really need to get away from these ping pong ball designs for a while. I just wonder if this design really falls at 37 mph as Rocksim says? Hence I added the streamer recovery otherwise I would be going for a tumble recovery only.

Thanks Again and Enjoy, JP

And thank Jay (and Carl...) for coming up with that special nose cone. I just got one in my hands yesterday for the first time...

Cute, but I'd recommend a color other than green...

Keep in mind, without that streamer you'd need to reconfigure the file to "blow out" the motor casing at deployment, so that the extra weight is eliminated. That would help quite a bit...
