Nice paint scheme, Troy. I really like that. It, along with the Mars Lander paint scheme, are really cool alternatives to the Outlander kit card finish.

It has got to be much longer than that...

I still have some of those 24mm replacement rings from your group order on my desk taunting me.

Oh, but I didn't start on mine for several years after we ordered those rings

And then, I decided to forego the rings - to forego the designed attachment structure - and cook up something else entirely different. At which point, the progress came to a screeching halt as I pondered what to do next while also pondering another 100 different things...

BTW, speaking of group orders, many years back, I distributed rings and nosecones for building Quest T-30 based Midget upscales (~1.2x). I've never seen one of those either But I might be willing to buy the parts back if any DARS members can find theirs. The only person I remember for sure taking a set was Bob W.

Had to do a little searching but here is a video of my Outlander on an 18mm RMS load..D21 IIRC..Would have gone higher if it hadn't 'sputtered' on the pad!

When I eventually get around to building another, I'm going to go with Mars Lander scheme as well. Sirius offers a really nice decal set for it that's ML-based.

I went with the Mars Lander style when I built mine. I think it looks better sitting beside my ML than the stock scheme would.
