I just called Apogee. The decal sheet is available and I've ordered a new one so I can redo the yellow deltas and add the star and bar decal to the fuselage.
Thanks for the help guys, and have a happy new year!

For those of you who are as anal as I am about getting your scale details correct, here is a link to a high def (enlargeable) shot of the Smithsonian's X-15.

Too bad the X-15 parts bag is $8 and the shipping from Quest is $13. Sheesh. No matter what you buy, even the smallest thing still has the same shipping, $13. |

For those of you who are NAR members and keep all their magazines, there is an pre-X-15 plan called the Douglas Model 684. Proposed X-15 Configuration, 1955.
NAR American Space Modeling Magazine issue, 1992 Volume 35, Number 5. The Douglas Model 684 is on the cover. A Estes Bullpup kit will take care of the N/C and body, Motor Mount, parachute and most of the tail feathers. I can't scan the plan but if you PM me I can get the plans scanned (hard copy) to you for the price of two US postage stamps.
